Just use this command: /replaceitem entity @s[type=minecraft:player] armor.head minecraft:IＤ and Steve can wear various items on his head.
For example, if we change the ID in the command to the ID of the Dropper: dropper, Steve can wear a Dropper. Doesn’t it look quite cute?
Besides this, we can also try various other items. Any block can be worn on Steve’s head, and this won’t affect our vision like a Carved Pumpkin does. Want to become an astronaut? Just replace the item on your head with Glass.
In addition to blocks, some other items can actually be worn on the head too, such as Fence Gates. Wearing one makes it seem like we have a cool visor, very interesting.
Advanced Tooltips
If you don’t know what the ID of an item is, don’t worry. Just hold down the F3 and H keys together to turn on Advanced Tooltips. Then, in the inventory, we can see the item’s ID.
