The YouTube channel of the late Minecraft content creator Technoblade has officially surpassed 20 million subscribers. This milestone was achieved three years after his death, an event that caused widespread shock within the Minecraft community at the time.

Technoblade was a faceless YouTuber, often represented in his videos by the image of a pig wearing a golden crown. The pig wearing a golden crown that appears in the Minecraft movie is a tribute to him. He was renowned in the Minecraft sphere for completing various high-difficulty challenges, showcasing exceptional gameplay skills, and actively participating in major Minecraft community events. His achievements include securing 1,818 victories in Bed Wars, winning first place in the inaugural Minecraft Monday tournament, and harvesting the largest number of potatoes in Minecraft history. He also collaborated with top-tier content creators such as PewDiePie, Dream, and Mr. Beast.

In July 2022, Technoblade passed away due to bone cancer. His father took over his channel on July 1st, posting a video containing Technoblade’s final message. Since then, the channel has occasionally uploaded highlights of his moments in Minecraft recorded before his passing.
On May 25, 2025, the Technoblade YouTube channel uploaded two videos—one was a medley compiling past footage, and the other was a special tribute segment set within Minecraft. The videos called upon viewers to help the channel reach 20 million subscribers before June 1st, Technoblade’s birthday. Ultimately, the fans met the challenge, surpassing the 20 million milestone early to honor this legendary player who holds a crown-like status in the history of Minecraft.
