Greetings, adventurers! On this special (yet ordinary) day, I’d like to present you with a challenge—Infinite Desert Survival!
Yes, it’s about surviving in a desert where resources are extremely scarce!
Next, Block Fungus will share some survival tips to help you get through it a bit more smoothly~

01 Resource Zones
In the desert, there are only two places with relatively abundant resources: villages and desert temples.
For players, finding a village is crucial because only in desert villages will you find farmland—a stable source of food. If resources are plentiful, such as having a blacksmith, you can even choose to settle in this village!
In the blacksmith, you might find very valuable iron or diamonds. Try to craft a pickaxe or a bucket—this is very important.
If resources are limited, take all the survival essentials like the crafting table, chests, saplings, dirt, and wool, then move on to find the next survival spot.

The other location is the desert temple. Be careful and take everything from the desert temple except sand, because items like bones, iron ingots, gold ingots, diamonds, and emeralds are extremely rare resources in the desert.
Even chests can be used as fuel~

02 Saturation
Eating raw meat is usually considered a luxury in survival mode, but in the desert, it’s different. Here, furnaces and fuel are even rarer than raw meat.
The main source of raw meat in the desert is rabbits. The good thing about rabbits is that they have another advantage: if we settle in a village, rabbit hide can be crafted into leather, which can then be used to make a full set of leather armor—this is also the preferred equipment for players in the desert~

Of course, what’s even more important when settling in a village is the rabbit production chain!
We can use bone meal on grass blocks to obtain dandelions, then use dandelions to breed rabbits to get more rabbit products and sustain a sufficient livelihood~

03 Important Items
When exploring villages, adventurers must pay attention to what Block Fungus considers the most important resource in the desert—dead bushes!
Breaking dead bushes yields sticks, which are essential for crafting tools and can also be used as fuel!
In the desert, unless we already have a bucket and are lucky enough to find a lava lake, the main source of fuel may well be the sticks obtained from dead bushes~

04 Combat and Weapons
Even though survival resources are scarce, the zombies haven’t decreased~
In the early stages of desert survival, we might only have our bare hands to rely on. However, Block Fungus thinks that even if we can’t take the initiative, we can still build something for defense—using the desert’s toughest plant, the cactus!
Of course, while surrounding yourself with cactus, be careful not to get hurt by it~

As for other weapons, we’ll have to find a village and trade with weapon merchants~
