When adventurers get tired from traveling, they often stop to enjoy the scenery, rest, and relax. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to build a home high up in a place perfect for enjoying the view? Today’s building tutorial will definitely satisfy the wishes of all you scenery lovers. Let’s take a look together~
Titan’s Lantern
This build is located on a towering and scenic cliff.

Step 1: Let’s build the lantern handle. Choose a suitable high point and extend a wooden beam outward using stripped oak logs. Adjust the length appropriately based on your chosen location. Here, we extended it 20 blocks.

Then, at the end of the lantern handle, build down 21 blocks using oak planks. At the very bottom, extend 5 blocks in each of the four directions.

On the bottom, continue using oak planks to complete a ‘田’ shape. Then, fill the four openings inside the ‘田’ shape with glass.

Now comes the routine part of erecting pillars and beams~ At each outer corner of the openings and at the center point of the ‘十’ shape, build a pillar 11 blocks high using oak logs. Then, connect the tops of the pillars.

Time to start building the roof! Use dark oak slabs to outline two circles on top of the frame as shown below. Then, as shown in the second picture, place 4 dark oak slabs in each corner, building towards the center.

Use birch stairs to create a simple pyramid-shaped roof.

Then, fill in the remaining roof with dark oak slabs. While doing this, you can open up four windows in the pyramid roof. Don’t forget to add the horizontal beam for the floor separation at the 5th block from the bottom~

Finally, we add an oak log pillar in the space between each pair of existing pillars and fill all the open spaces with glass. The main structure of the building is now complete.

Now for the main decorations. Use cobblestone stairs to encircle the edge of the lantern’s bottom floor. Use quartz blocks to mimic the handle of a lantern door. Break the pillar opposite the handle and use cobblestone walls to create the effect of door hinges.

Then, use quartz blocks on the roof to build the ring from which the lantern hangs.

At the very bottom of the lantern, use dirt blocks and trapdoors to create planter decorations. Stagger various different leaves to create a sense of depth. You can also place flower pots and plant various little flowers~

To convey the theme of being “forgotten,” we can use vines and leaves to create “giant mixed vines” wrapping around the lantern~

Don’t forget to add “giant mixed vines” to the roof too. At this point, you can strategically break one or two roof blocks to create the effect of the vines merging into the structure.

Wrap the lantern handle using the same method, paying attention to creating a hanging, flowing feel. Then, at the end of the handle, use stripped oak logs to create a curled decoration.

Near the center pillar on the roof, break a block to create an entrance.

The interior structure is relatively simple. Around the center pillar, use birch slabs to create simple floor separations, leaving one area open to increase light. This results in a total of three floors.

The interior decoration is where you can let your imagination run wild.

The smoking grill is made by combining a loom and a campfire.

The lantern that the Titan giant casually stuck into the mountainside has now become one with nature. Although he has left, the adventures continue.
