Let’s Talk About the Confusing Behaviors of Creatures in Minecraft

Minecraft is a sandbox game with extremely high freedom. Players can adventure, collect resources, and build their own homes in the vast blocky world. In this massive blocky world, there are also various creatures living. Sometimes, these creatures exhibit some very strange behaviors. Today, let’s take a look at the confusing behaviors of creatures in Minecraft and see how many you have encountered.

Spider

Spiders are a very common creature in reality, but in Minecraft, they become almost as large as Steve, looking quite terrifying. Spiders have a very strange and confusing behavior: during the day, they are neutral creatures, but once night falls, they will frantically attack players. No one knows why this is.

Besides that, spiders sometimes spin rapidly in place at 360 degrees, and it’s unclear what they are trying to do. If a player uses spectator mode to enter a spider’s perspective at this time, remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance.

Nitwit Villager

Nitwit villagers are villagers dressed in green robes. They cannot work, cannot trade with players, and won’t even go to the village meeting when the bell rings. They truly live up to their name.

Most villagers head home shortly before sunset, but nitwit villagers don’t go home until after sunset. This means they sleep later than other villagers (does this count as staying up late?) and wake up later than other villagers the next day (does this count as sleeping in?). It fully demonstrates that people shouldn’t be idle.

Blaze and Wither

Blazes are special creatures that spawn in Nether fortresses. They are engulfed in flames and will attack any player who comes to explore. The Wither is a boss creature in the Nether that players can only summon by using wither skeleton skulls and soul sand.

If you thought blazes were minions of the wither, you would be completely wrong. When these two meet, they compete to see who can fly higher. In the Nether, they usually hit the bedrock ceiling quickly. But in the Overworld, they will keep flying up to the very top of the world. It has to be said, these two are really competitive.
