Little Secrets in Minecraft Animal Farming

In Minecraft, players often fence in some neutral animals to build a large farm. But do you really know everything about these little creatures on your farm? The trivia about them might help you survive more easily. Let’s take a look.

Sheep

Sheep eat grass and grass blocks (turning them into dirt). We can use this to have sheep help us clear the weeds around our doorstep. However, sheep that have been sheared can only regrow their wool by eating grass. This means you cannot raise them in a place without grass.

Feeding wheat to sheep allows them to breed. If the colors of the two parents can combine to create a third color, then the baby sheep will be born with that combined color.

Wolves

If you accidentally attack a wild wolf, you can feed it something it eats. At that moment, the wolf will enter breeding mode and stop attacking you. However, you’d better leave quickly, because when breeding mode ends, the wolf will continue to attack you.

Mooshroom

You can use shears to remove the mushrooms from a Mooshroom, turning it into a regular cow. Interestingly, if you are holding shears in both hands and shear the mushrooms off a Mooshroom, the Mooshroom will turn into two cows. Could it be that Mooshrooms can use shadow clones?

Pig

Riding a pig is a fun and cool way to travel in Minecraft. But did you know that a Potion of Invisibility cannot make the saddle on the pig invisible as well? This allows you to sit in mid-air and move around.

When you ride a pig into a minecart, the minecart’s properties change. Its speed becomes as fast as it would be on powered rails, allowing us to build a high-speed cart. However, at this point, the minecart will only stop when it collides with a solid block. Other entities and unpowered rails will only slow it down.
