Building the Basic Frame
Choose a location with flat ground and excavate a foundation measuring 28 blocks long and 17 blocks wide, reserving a 6-block wide entrance passage in the middle. Lay spruce planks for the foundation. Erect stripped spruce wood pillars at the four corners: side pillars are 5 blocks high, central pillars gradually increase from 6 to 7 blocks high, and the pillars at the entrance are 11 blocks high. Connect the pillars horizontally with oak wood to form a framework, maintaining a spacing of 4-5 blocks between connections to ensure structural stability.

Multi-Level Space Design
Adopt an attached four-level structure: The first level is the horse area, divided into stalls using dark oak fences, with each stall providing a 2×3 block space. The second level is recessed inward by one block to create walkways, with the floor paved in dark oak planks. The third level is the living quarters, extending outward into a platform to build a 3-block high small house. The fourth level serves as a storage attic, accessible via ladders. For each level’s exterior walls, alternate between spruce slabs and trapdoors to enhance the sense of depth.
Functional Facilities Configuration
- Watering System: Create a 1×1 water trough in the corner of each stall, enclosed by spruce trapdoors and then filled with water.
- Lighting and Decoration: Place lanterns on top of fence posts, seal windows with oak trapdoors, and use acacia wood doors as partitions.
- Feed Management: Stack hay bales against the inner wall of stalls and add stone buttons to simulate feeding troughs.
Roof and Exterior Optimization
The roof features a stepped design: the bottom layer uses oak slabs, layered upwards with spruce slabs to form a “2232” wooden stair pattern for the edges. Above the main entrance, use intersecting dark oak logs for support. Extend spruce trapdoors from the side eaves to act as rain shelters. For the exterior walls, mix cobblestone walls, dark oak fences, and moss carpets to enhance the natural texture.
Construction Efficiency Tips
- Pre-fabricate Materials: Process materials in bulk according to pillar requirements: oak wood (frame), spruce wood (exterior walls), dark oak wood (decoration).
- Quick Replication: Use the same template for symmetrical structures, such as the pillar height sequence “7”.
- Space Utilization: Install a 2×2 glowstone chandelier in the attic, leaving holes below for embedded lighting to save vertical space.
Tip: It is recommended to orient the stable facing north to avoid potential lighting glitches in the game. Remember to close the fence gates after leading horses into their stalls with a lead to prevent them from escaping.
