Minecraft is an open-world sandbox building game with extremely high freedom. In the game, we can use blocks and Redstone circuits to freely create many tools and weapons from our imagination, opening up a different gaming experience. Today, I will bring you a tutorial on building a fully automatic button-activated lava door. It can resist eagerly advancing raiders and monsters, protecting the daily peace of villagers. Without further ado, if you’re interested, follow along to see how it’s done.
First, we start by building a frame (height and size can be set freely).
Remove the regular blocks in the area marked by the red lines. Leave a one-block gap between each removal. This is determined by the size set in the previous step.
Then, in all the emptied spaces, place dispensers facing downwards.
Fill the top layer completely with Redstone dust. Then, on the layer below, both inside and outside, place a layer of slabs in the corresponding positions.
Place a bucket of lava in each dispenser. Then, corresponding to the positions of the slabs, place stone pressure plates on the ground.
After completing the frame part, we move on to the activation mechanism. First, place a dropper facing upwards.
Place a dispenser according to the position shown in the diagram.
Place a hopper connected to the dropper.
In the area marked by the red lines, place one redstone comparator and two regular blocks.
Place any item inside the dispenser. Install a button on the dispenser to activate it.
Place a redstone torch on top of the regular block.
In the area marked by the red lines, place two regular blocks and an observer facing upwards.
Then, according to the position shown in the diagram, place one regular block and a redstone torch.
Next, place a regular block on top of the redstone torch. At this point, the block will become powered, and the redstone circuit above will receive an output signal.
Place Redstone dust in the area marked by the red lines.
The final step: fill the surrounding area with regular blocks to conceal the activation mechanism.
