Minecraft Loot Roundup: Which Creature Carries a “Treasure Trove” With Them?

Minecraft is a sandbox game with extremely high freedom. Players can adventure, collect resources, and build their own homes in the vast blocky world. The game features a variety of interesting creatures, and defeating them drops different loot. Today, let’s take a look at the creatures with the most drops and see who carries so many treasures with them.

Third Place: Guardian

Guardians are hostile creatures that live in ocean monuments. If a player approaches an ocean monument, they will fire lasers at the player and give them the Mining Fatigue effect for 5 minutes. So, to obtain the treasures of the ocean monument, you need to deal with these annoying guardians first.

Although guardians are annoying, they drop quite a few items. Defeating them can yield: prismarine shards, prismarine crystals, pufferfish, raw salmon, clownfish, raw cod, and other items. Judging by these drops, it’s clear these creatures eat a lot of fish; no wonder fishing is so difficult nearby.

Second Place: Witch

Witches living in swamps are very frightening creatures. They use potions to attack enemies or protect themselves, making them quite troublesome.

When a witch is killed, she drops: glass bottles, glowstone dust, gunpowder, redstone dust, spider eyes, sugar, sticks, and various potions. It’s evident that witches are truly dedicated to studying potions, even carrying brewing materials with them when they go out.

First Place: Zombie

Zombies are very common undead creatures. They like to attack players in groups. Moreover, zombies have numerous variants, such as husks, drowned, zombie villagers, and so on.

When a zombie dies, it drops rotten flesh, carrots, potatoes, iron ingots, and other items. Interestingly, if a zombie is killed by a charged creeper explosion, it will also drop a zombie head. Additionally, when zombies spawn, they may sometimes spawn with equipment like pumpkins, iron shovels, iron swords, or armor of various materials. These items have a chance to drop along with the zombie’s usual loot when it dies. Therefore, zombies have dozens of different possible drops.
